Master Diplomacy Where the World’s Decisions are Made.
This lab is designed for students who aspire to navigate the world’s most influential decision-making arenas. It serves as a professional incubator where participants move beyond textbooks to engage directly with the machinery of international governance.

Global Lens: Foundations of Multilateralism.
Foundations of Multilateralism. Introduction to the “Spirit of Geneva” and the legal framework of Swiss neutrality.
The goal: Changing how you see the world. Today is about the “Big Picture.” You’ll step into the shoes of a global strategist to analyze the 2030 Agenda and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We don’t just talk about problems; we identify “Impact Gaps.”
Key Experience: A “Future-Mapping” workshop where you’ll learn how to predict global trends and design a vision that actually stands the test of time.
✨ Evening Social Event by the Lake
An ice-breaker networking session with peers from around the world by the shore of Lac Leman (Lake Geneva).
Skills Unlock: Strategic Foresight, System Thinkings, SDG Alignment, Strategic Networking & Relationship Building
Workshop on collaborative diplomacy and mastering the art of negotiation in high-pressure environments.
The goal: Getting the resources to lead. Even the best ideas need funding and support. Today, we focus on the “The Geneva Method” of negotiation. You will learn the art of multi-stakeholder partnerships—how to get governments, NGOs, and big business to work together on your project.
Key Experience: A high-stakes Resource Mobilization Simulation. You will pitch a project and negotiate for the “funding” needed to make it happen.
📍 The Geneva Discovery Challenge
Put your map-reading and teamwork skills to the test. This isn’t a boring walking tour. Armed with a custom mission map, you’ll navigate the streets of the International Quarter and the Old Town, unlocking the secrets of Geneva’s most iconic landmarks.
Skills Unlock: Persuasive pitching and diplomatic negotiation.
Study Visit: Palais des Nations (UN Geneva). A briefing on multilateralism at the heart of international diplomacy.
The goal: Seeing diplomacy in action. Geneva isn’t just a city; it’s a living laboratory. We take the classroom to the streets. You will explore the “International Quarter,” learning the history and the hidden mechanics of the organizations that shape our lives—from the Red Cross (ICRC) to the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Key Experience: An exclusive briefing from a Geneva insider on how decisions are really made behind closed doors.
Skill Unlock: Professional “On-site Observation” and institutional analysis.
The Hot Seat: Real-World Policy Simulation.
Study Visit: World Trade Organization (WTO). Exploring the legal frameworks that govern global commerce followed by a high-level policy simulation.
The goal: Turning theory into a roadmap. We move from “What” to “How.” We focus on Institutionalization—the science of making your impact permanent. You will learn how to build a team, manage a budget, and lead through a crisis without losing your vision.
Key Experience: The “Impact Roadmap” Presentation. You will finalize your own action plan to take home and implement in your school or community.

The Leadership Manifesto.
Study Visit: International Red Cross Museum. A deep dive into humanitarian engagement before finalizing the Personal Leadership Manifesto.
The goal: Owning your power and joining the global stage.
The final day is the bridge between the Lab and your future. Today, we shift from learning to becoming. You’ve spent the week gathering tools; now it’s time to declare how you will use them.
The “Leadership Manifesto” Workshop: Forget generic mission statements. You will draft your personal Leadership Manifesto—a bold declaration of your values, your vision, and the specific impact you commit to making in your community. This is your “North Star” to keep you on track long after you leave Geneva.
The Impact Showcase: In a high-energy “Final Pitch” session, you’ll present your roadmap to your peers and mentors. This is where you get final, expert feedback on how to turn your project into a reality.
The Graduation Ceremony: A formal celebration held in the heart of the international hub. As you receive your SALS Academy Certificate, you aren’t just a student anymore—you are an officially recognized member of a global network of change-makers.

Driven by a commitment to fair access and equality, we are providing special waivers up to 50% to nationals from countries in need, using World Development Indicators to define eligibility.
