The location is not accidental as Geneva is a center for multilateralism, hosting many key United Nations agencies, NGOs, international organisations, focusing on global issues and challenges like peace and security, human rights, humanitarian aid, health, labor standards, intellectual property, and trade and history of neutrality, being a safe and neutral space for dialogue and negotiation between different actors.
